Bayhaven Lodge Booking Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

 

Arrivals and Departures

Standard check in time is between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. Departure time is strictly 10.00am. Early arrivals and late check outs are at the discretion of management. We will try to accommodate these requests if we can. Please note that if you have not vacated at 10.00am without having arranged a late check out a late check out fee of $50 may apply.

Payment terms

Rates are quoted in Australian dollars and are subject to change at any time. Rates are inclusive of gst.
Payments are to be made by credit card or bank transfer.
For bookings made 15 days or less to the date of check in, full payment is required at the time of booking.
For bookings made 15 days or more to the date of check in, a deposit of 50% of the total tariff is required at the time of booking and the balance must be paid 15 days prior to your arrival. The exception to this is festival weeks/weekends and public holiday weekends where full payment will be required one month prior to arrival.


A copy of a credit card will be required on arrival to cover any loss or damage caused during your stay.

We accept VISA and Master Card, NO AMEX. All transactions will incur a 2.00% transaction fee.

Cancellations

If you cancel a minimum of 3 months prior to your arrival date, no fee will be charged.
If you cancel between 3 – 1 month of your arrival date, 50% of your total booking tariff will be charged as a cancellation fee.
If you cancel within 30 days prior to your arrival date, 100% of your total booking tariff will be charged as a cancellation fee.

Occupancy

At no time is the number of occupants to exceed the number booked. Failure to abide by this will result in a fee and eviction.

 

Noise

Excessive noise and functions including parties are not permitted. If a security company, police or management is called to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti social behaviour the guests will incur a $250 call out fee. Guests are given one warning and if security, police or management is called a second time guests will be evicted immediately and will forfeit the full tariff and any security deposit. A second $250 call out fee will be charged as well.

FEES CHARGEABLE TO GUESTS ACCOUNT INCLUDE, AND ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Smoking in rooms – $250.00 cleaning fee will be charged.

Room degradation (such as vomit, bodily wastes and excessive mess) $250 cleaning fee will be charged, plus any professional floor cleaning charges at cost.

Cost of repair or replacement for general damage or theft of Guesthouse property and any problem sufficient to result in a room being withdrawn from its availability to be let.

In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.

Disruption to other guests - Management reserves the right to charge additional fees based on the merit of a case by case incident whereby the incident results in a loss of income to Bayhaven Lodge Guesthouse.

 

Spa Hours

Pool hours are strictly Between 9am and 9pm. This is for the comfort and consideration of our other guests.

 

Guests

Only registered guests are permitted on the Bayhaven Lodge Premises.

 

Smoking

There is to be no smoking indoors, under sheltered or common areas.

Servicing Rooms

As we are an eco minded property, room servicing will be instigated automatically only when booking exceeds 4 days. We are happy to honour a request of room servicing with bookings 4 days and under however this needs to be requested.

 

Indemnity

The owner and agents do not condone any unsafe, unruly, irresponsible or illegal behaviour or activities on the premises during your stay. The owner and agents accept no responsibility for any actions, incidents, loss, damage or injury sustained during your stay at the premises. The guests accepts and agrees that as a condition of their stay and use of facilities at the property that all guests indemnify and agree to keep indemnified the owner and agent against all liability whatsoever and howsoever arising including but no limited to any actions, incidents,loss or injury sustained during their stay on the property.

 

Children

No children under 12 are permitted to stay in the rooms. All children under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

Pets

No pets are permitted on the property.

 

STRICTLY NO BUCKS, HENS, SCHOOLIES, WEDDINGS OR PARTIES . 

 

By confirming your booking with Bayhaven Lodge, you have Agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.

 

Failure to comply with these terms and conditions will result in immediate eviction and loss of all monies paid to Bayhaven Lodge.

Privacy Policy

‘BAYHAVEN LODGE’ of 16 Shirley Street Byron Bay, New South Wales is committed to managing your personal information openly and transparently and to keeping your personal information safe. We will take all necessary measures to fulfil this commitment as outlined in our privacy statement below.
